When WAS the last time you saw your elected representative? ANY representative? They cloister themselves in the hallowed halls of "the hill" and isolate themselves from their constituients. Why is social security broken? Because THEY DON'T CARE about OUR social security. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN! AND MORE. . .
Webster says : the chief lawmaking body of a republic that in the United States is made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
For our purposes, we'll have State and Federal Congresses. They do different functions but administratively we can treat them the same.
